This Vectrax 11″ x 18″ Toolroom Lathe is listed as New Scratch & Dent due to some minor damage sustained during shipping. This lathe has never been used. This machine has been Inspected and Tested.
– The Spindle Motor is quiet and the VFD controls the Spindle Speed and direction without any issues.
-The Carriage and Cross Slide move smoothly without any backlash. The Variable Speed for both works as it should.
-The Tail Stock slides, locks and extends without any issue.
– Motor and Storage Cabinet Doors Open/Close properly.
– Threading engages without issue.
-Includes the original Manual, Tools/Toolbox, Work Light & Collet Carousel.
The following discrepancies were noted during Inspection.
– There are various scratches and dings on the Base, Head and Electrical Enclosure.
– The included Collet Closer is broken. (See Pictures)
– The Control Panel Mounting Post is slightly bent.
– Forward/Reverse and Chuck Selection Switches are broken. Still can be operated.
– The Thread Engagement Lever, Carriage Wheel Handle and Cross Slide Handle are broken. The Cross Slide Handle Shaft is slightly bent.
